Chapter membership is through the national association – PSR/RPS Canada.

Classes of Membership

1. Organizational Membership:

PSR providers and other organizations interested in furthering the mission of PSR/RPS Canada. Full membership benefits.

2. Individual Membership:

Persons interested in furthering the mission of PSR/RPS Canada. Employees and other people affiliated with Organizational Membership shall not acquire Individual Membership status by virtue of their affiliation with the organization. Full membership benefits.

3. Associate Individual Membership:

Consumers, family members, students or other interested individuals who support the mission of PSR/RPS Canada. Limited membership benefits.

4. Associate Organizational Membership:

Organizations or groups of consumers/survivors, and family members interested in furthering the mission of PSR/RPS Canada. Limited membership benefits.

• PSR/RPS Canada has a formal affiliation agreement with the United States Psychiatric Association (USPRA) which entitles PSR/RPS Canada members discounts on their conferences, training events and educational/training materials.
• PSR/RPS Canada is a core member of the Canadian Alliance on Mental Illness & Mental Health (CAMIMH); and a member of the World Association for Psychosocial Rehabilitation (WAPR).
• Support to organizational members with accreditation preparation.
• Valuable networking opportunities at the local, national and international levels.
• Access to research funding.
• Full access to the PSR/RPS Canada, and United States Psychiatric Association (USPRA) websites.
• A strong voice in the promotion of PSR/RPS Canada’s mission.
• A subscription to the quarterly Psychiatric Rehabilitation Journal.
• A PSR/RPS Canada Newsletter and Chapter Newsletter.
